This year’s Met Gala’s, on 1 May 2023, theme ‘Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty’, a tribute to the legendary designer who died in 2019. We acknowledge the controversy surrounding Mr Lagerfeld, this blog focused on our choice for top *9 outfits. The Designers stepped up this year, following last year’s mishap.

At number 8 is Mindy Kaling in Simkhai
And 7 is Shai Gilgeous-Alexander in Thom Browne
Our number 6 choice is Rachel Brosnahan in Sergio Hudson and Swarovski
Halfway there at number 5 is Erykah Badu in Marni
At number 4, Michaela Coel in Schiaparelli and Emefa Cole jewellery. Special mention to her gorgeous glam by Bernicia Boateng.
Number 3 we have Yara Shahidi in Jean Paul Gaultier
And number 2 Allyson Felix in Fendi
Adorned in a white Fendi gown made with 240,000 ostrich feathers and crystal beads.
Finally, our number 1, top choice is Anok Yai in Prabal Gurung
